Pizzaro Italian Cuisine | Our Story

From a New Beginning to Pizzaro
A JACKSONVILLE FAMILY STORY • SINCE 2002
Built through family, sacrifice and a love for serving Jacksonville - one restaurant, one recipe and one guest at a time.

Two Brothers. One Shared Dream.
THE BEGINNING
In 2002, following the economic crisis in Türkiye, brothers Ibrahim and Mucahit Orhan moved to the United States in search of a better future for their families. They found work in Jacksonville Italian restaurants, learned the craft and began building a dream of their own.
2006 • MANDARIN, JACKSONVILLE
Noble's Pizza
In 2006, they opened their first restaurant in Mandarin and named it Noble's Pizza. Two years later, when the landlord sold the location, the brothers were forced to close - but their journey was far from over.

Dolce's Pizza
2008-2012 • THE NEXT CHAPTER
They moved next door and opened Dolce's Pizza. For four years, the brothers welcomed guests, served their community and strengthened the family tradition. After that chapter, they sold the business and chose separate paths in business - each carrying forward the lessons they had built together.
Resilience became part of the recipe.

Ale Pie House
2013 • RIVERSIDE
In 2013, Ibrahim opened Ale Pie House in Riverside. Six months later, after becoming a U.S. citizen, he was finally able to bring his children to the United States. Samet and his sister joined him: she worked in the dining room, while Samet learned the kitchen. Their own path in the restaurant industry had begun.

Mama's Pizza & Grill
2018-2021 • BAYMEADOWS
After four years at Ale Pie House and a well-earned break, Ibrahim and Samet opened Mama's Pizza & Grill. They ran it together for three years while Samet attended college and began an internship at Bank of America. With corporate life calling, they sold the restaurant and believed their restaurant journey had ended.

Coming Home
TODAY • ATLANTIC BOULEVARD
After six years in the corporate world, Samet felt drawn back to the work that had shaped him. He returned to the restaurant business with everything his father had taught him - perseverance, hospitality and pride in every plate.
And now, we have Pizzaro.
Pizzaro Italian Cuisine is the next chapter of our family's Jacksonville story - built on more than twenty years of hard work, second chances and food made to bring people together.
